Summit Comedy, Inc has been a proud member of NACA since our beginning in 1998 where we have showcased countless stand up comedians and comedy entertainment throughout the United States including Jessi Campbell, Eric O’Shea, Tommy Johnagin and Roy Wood Jr (who was inducted into the NACA Hall of Fame in 2017) and countless others.

The National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) is the recognized leader in higher education providing knowledge, ideas and resources for campus life. They provide members with programs and events focusing on student and professional leadership development, program planning, concert management, diversity and more. Our school and associate members also have access to one of the largest campus activities networking and talent buying resources in the country. With the assistance of Riddle & Bloom, their exclusive marketing partner, NACA is able to provide members with additional resources, including internship, educational and networking opportunities.

It’s members are broken into 3 categories:

Colleges/Universities:  Professional staff member or student on a college campus.

Associates:  Agency, artist, vendor or company whose products & services are geared toward the college market.

Affiliates: Organizations or firms involved in services related to campus activities.

There are 7 Regional conferences held throughout the United States each year where Colleges, Associates & Affiliates meet to merge student programmers and entertainment agencies and vendors in:

What is Summit Comedy, Inc.?

Summit Comedy was formed many moons ago in 1998 by Chuck Johnson, current owner/President.  Chuck Johnson entered the comedy business the day after graduating from Appalachian State University in 1995 where he booked all of the live music and comedy for the university’s club “Legends”. His first job?…..one of comedian Carrot Top’s college agents and booking agent for the comedy club chain The Comedy Zone. His second job?…..well, in 1998 he formed Summit Comedy, Inc. and has turned it into one of the Nation’s Largest suppliers of Stand-up Comedy & Comedy Entertainment for Colleges/Universities, Corporate Events, Country Clubs, Cruise ships, Clubs & beyond.
